Half
way through the season ALREADY? Why does it take so long to GET
to Mooney Football Season….and then once it starts, it flies
by?
Well
the 2009 version of Cardinal Mooney Football….has yet another
stiff test this weekend against the unbeaten, Division 2, Cougars
of Mentor Lake Catholic High School. Lake Catholic has rolled to
4 wins in a row, including a big 35-21 victory over defending State
Champion Ursuline.
The
Cards are on a pretty nice roll themselves. They continue to improve
each week and need to, with the schedule ahead of them. As stated
above, this game marks the midway point of the regular season and
hopefully a third of the way through what we all hope is a very
successful 15 week season!
As
long as these young men continue to improve and continue to eliminate
mental mistakes and stay healthy and get a break here and there
and eat right and sleep right….I like our chances! ;-}
